Deep Paradise
Collection
Couture

The Deep Paradise Collection is my thesis collection presented at The Bellevue Hotel in order to get my Masters degree.

It received two Awards. The Nancy Volpe Beringer Award of Best Eveningwear and The Highest commendation in Design of 2024.

The main inspiration is creatures living in the abyssal area of the ocean. The collection uses metaphoric elements to create its narratives. These monstrous figures are used to symbolize our deep fears. The core of the collection is how to embrace our fears and be able to create. Its a balance between horror and beauty.

Fabscrap Project

Drexel students were invited by Fabscrap to create a sculptural look using saved-from-landfill materials available for reuse.

I received a navy blue havy-duty cotton twill fabric. The color inspired to reach the star, so I made a Star-shape body suit.

100 of Years of Art
Deco. Where are We Going?
Sustainable Ready-to- Wear
Collection

The first ideas about sustainability began in rural reconstruction in China in 1920*. The collection concept emerges from a question starting from the Art Deco age and where are we going? We need to ask ourselves not just about making clothes but what sustainability is. The desire is to interpret contemporary looks based on the Art Deco aesthetic maintaining sustainability and sophistication at the same time. The garments are designed to adapt to different bodies and genders.

The Sentinel Forest X CLO 3D

In 2016, I developed an art series called “ The Fashion Monsters”, where I illustrated the fashion world as monstrous creatures and how we related to it. As creatures in a forest. It is a chaotic and dangerous forest where you can watch and be watched. In the same year, I created the series called “The Sentinel Flowers” where I explored the beauty and horrors of these creatures that want you to look at them because they are beautiful, but also spies you. It is a decoy. Based on both series, I wanted to explore who I could created garments, and also using CLO 3D to give them life. The Sentinel Forest pattern received The Excellence Award by Hanyoung Textile Design Contest of 2023.
